Job description

Serving as a long-term strategic partner for our leaders in North America, we seek someone who will engage across our critical stakeholder groups, understand & share the needs of Manufacturing and Supply Chain, and contribute to the development of data products that deliver the right data insights & analytics into the hands of our internal partners.

Additionally, as a Lead Manufacturing Analyst, you will learn and become a subject matter expert in Vistaprint’s global manufacturing and logistics operations. You will work closely with the Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering and Financial Teams, applying strong analytical skills to define problems, form hypotheses, gather and analyze data and make recommendations. Types of detailed analyses will include but are not limited to shipping costs, labour costs, throughput time, scheduling optimization, customer complaints, etc.

What You Will Do:
  • Bringing knowledge and expertise (e.g., best practices and methodologies) to your work
  • Becoming an expert in our domain of Manufacturing & Supply Chain
  • Deep diving into specific subject areas, working closely with stakeholders to understand and define business problems
  • Develop and co-create data products with other Manufacturing Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists
  • Be a partner for leaders across Manufacturing Operations, partnering in the build of tooling that enables the business to be data-driven
  • Exploring all the data to problem solve, discovering new insights and seeing your efforts come to life to drive value for our internal stakeholders
  • Spotting opportunities to broaden your impact by seeking new ways to drive value for our stakeholders and share across multiple Vistaprint locations
  • Contributing functional expertise in the space of Data & Analytics
  • Establish trust-based relationships and communicate effectively with leaders across the organization
  • Respond in a timely manner to ad-hoc analytic requests from the plant for data, analysis and reports
  • Become the in-house expert of our manufacturing data
  • Share and learn standard processes with other Plant Analytics teams globally
What You Need:
  • 5+ years of technical, analytical work experience in a related field
  • Bachelor or Master degree in an analytics, computer science, engineering or business field
  • Experience coaching/mentoring/leading Jr. Analysts a plus
  • Solid understanding and experience with data & analytics tools such as Snowflake, MS SQL, Looker, Tableau, or other similar tools
  • Advance level knowledgeable in Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA)
  • Confidence communicating openly with team members in a growing global organization
  • Confidence presenting to peers and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
  • Intense curiosity, ability to learn quickly and apply new tools and techniques
  • Passion to identify and define problems/solutions
  • Drive to work with business owners to improve performance
  • Integrity, attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage projects
  • Ability to multi-task and excellent problem-solving skills
