Qualifications

Job Summary:

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $23.00/hr - $32.34 /hr
  • Employment Type: Year Round
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Job Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily work orders related to residential units and employee common areas, ensuring a timely and professional response.
  • Perform daily inspections and scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure buildings and mechanical systems remain safe, functional, and compliant.
  • Participate in team meetings and maintain accurate records in the maintenance journal to support ongoing task tracking.
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies, including participation in scheduled on-call shifts outside of regular working hours.
  • Collaborate with Front Desk staff, other departments, and team leads to ensure clear communication and resolution of resident maintenance needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and enhance the resident experience by suggesting and implementing service innovations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years of general maintenance experience, including knowledge of hot water systems, plumbing, carpentry, and basic construction.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and take initiative in emergency situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and willingness to participate in ongoing emergency response training.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Whistler Blackcomb Driver’s Standards Policy; must be comfortable operating a vehicle as part of daily duties.
