Job summary

Egis Canada seeks an experienced Land Development Senior Civil Engineer to lead complex municipal and private land development projects in Ontario. You’ll guide design from concept through construction, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with municipal standards and approvals.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree and P.Eng in Ontario, 10+ years of land development design, strong AutoCAD/Civil3D skills, excellent written and spoken English, and proven

Qualifications

• University degree in Civil Engineering and P.Eng in Ontario.
• 10+ years of design experience on land development projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D and familiarity with modeling tools.
• Excellent oral/written communication in English; French is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee land development, municipal servicing, and related infrastructure projects from concept to post-construction acceptance.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compliant designs.
• Provide technical authority in stormwater, grading, and road design for subdivisions and site plans.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate approvals with municipalities and regulators.
• Support proposals, budgeting, and contract administration; handle change orders.
• Provide construction-phase oversight, shop drawing reviews, and RFIs responses.
