Salary

  • Infrastructure Investments: $147,760 - $246,267 plus performance-based incentives

Position & Team Overview

Seeking an experienced Lead Investment Officer in Sustainable Infrastructure, responsible for originating, structuring, and managing financial solutions in sectors like Energy, Transport, Water, and Digital Infrastructure. A results-oriented team player with expertise in public-private partnerships and project finance is ideal.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Business Development - Identify and develop new opportunities.
  • Transaction Management - Handle origination, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
  • Internal Communication - Coordinate with management and internal teams.
  • Relationship Building - Maintain strong client and partner relationships.
  • Risk Assessment - Evaluate transaction risks and mitigants.
  • Project Leadership - Lead multi-functional projects as needed.
  • Customer Strategy - Guide engagement and negotiations.
  • Portfolio Management - Manage client portfolios and monitor risks.
  • Industry Engagement - Network within the DFI space.
  • Process Improvement - Contribute to enhancing investment processes.
  • Mentorship - Coach junior staff.

What We’re Looking For

  • Completed CFA, MBA, or MSc in Finance
  • Minimum 12 years in Sustainable Infrastructure
  • Strong commitment to sustainable development
  • Networking and relationship skills

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Development Finance Institutions or Multilateral Banks
  • Knowledge of economic issues in developing countries, especially Latin America, Caribbean, or Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Fluent in English; French or Spanish proficiency preferred
