Salary: Range from $127,380 to $212,298 annually plus performance incentives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Innovate: Develop blended finance pipelines, work with sector teams, and source concessional capital.
  • Underwriting: Structure and assess impactful blended finance transactions, support portfolio management.
  • Partnership Development: Collaborate with financing partners to facilitate private investments.
  • Leadership: Guide the Investment Team on principles and policies, mentor team members.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage reporting and contribute to strategy development.
  • Capacity Building: Enhance internal skills and external knowledge sharing.
  • External Engagement: Represent FinDev Canada in the blended finance community and at events.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • At least 12 years in transaction origination, structuring, and management in a DFI / MDB or banking context, with 5+ years in blended finance.
  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English and French or Spanish preferred.
  • Strong networking, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience within a DFI or MDB.
  • Experience working in emerging markets and across cultures.
  • Excellent stakeholder coordination skills.
