Job description

Campaigner is looking for a Lead Integrations Engineer to join our Engineering team.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a new team of developers to design, implement, and maintain new external components (or products) that will integrate with Campaigner, accelerating the growth of our company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a proven record in managing integration projects that drive business growth through technology, and leadership experience. Your attention to detail, organization, and leadership qualities will be crucial for the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of developers designing, developing, and maintaining external components, plugins, and systems that drive integrations to Campaigner.
2. Collaborate with and manage local and offshore developers.
3. Work with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business teams, to define integration requirements, develop strategies, and prioritize initiatives that will drive business growth.
4. Research potential integrations, develop proof of concepts, bring implementations to production, and liaise with external third-party companies.

What we need from you:

• Proven experience as a programmer using multiple programming languages, with C# in the .NET ecosystem required. JavaScript, PHP, Java, React, or others are welcome.
• Experience leading software development or integration teams.
• Solid knowledge of source control, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and automation testing development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API development.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security compliance across environments and services.
• Ability to create quick proof of concepts and drive them to production.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating across global teams.
• A forward-thinking, problem-solving attitude, team player, ego-free mindset.
• BSc in computer science, software engineering, or relevant field.

• Experience leading software development projects involving multiple system integrations.
• Knowledge of eCommerce systems or deployment of plugins/integration modules to major app stores.
• Understanding of the AWS ecosystem.
• Strong organizational and planning skills aligned with company goals.
• Experience in product roadmaps and project management with multiple stakeholders.

Work Environment:

You choose to work remotely or in the office. If remote, we prefer seeing you at our Ottawa office 2-3 days a month for team gatherings.
