Job summary

Enercare Inc. in Newmarket is seeking a Lead Installer to join our Home Services Operations.

You will complete HVAC, water heater, and related equipment installations for Enercare Home Services products, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Reporting to the Install Field Manager, you will manage installation orders, coordinate with customers for pre-measurements, and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Gas Fitter 2 or Gas Fitter 1 license.
• Must have valid 313D AC license.
• Must have CFC Permit (ozone depletion).
• Must have a valid Driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years, recent HVAC equipment installation experience.
• Must be physically able to perform heavy lifting as per the Physical Needs Analysis (attached).
• Must have the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment related to installation projects.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Proven commitment to the delivery of customer–focused service.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Results oriented achieving high levels of individual and team performance.
• Preferred licenses in plumbing, electrical work, sheet metal.

• Accountable for receiving installation orders from assigned supervisor.
• Responsible for calling customers to arrange for pre-measuring where necessary.
• Responsible for keeping installation vehicle clean and neat both inside and out in keeping with the company's professional image.
• Responsible for keeping vehicle stocked with all material necessary to perform daily duties.
• Responsible for promoting Enercare products and services.
• Responsible for providing best advice to customers on repairing or replacing existing equipment.

Rate of Pay: $41.89 per hour - as per collective agreement

Hours of Work: Monday to Saturday, 8:0 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., five (5) consecutive days per week
