Job summary

Aplin has partnered with an established organization in the HVAC and engineered equipment sector to recruit an experienced Application Engineering Team Lead.

Reporting to the Director of Application Engineering, this position combines hands‑on technical leadership with people management, customer support, and collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other operational teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience with HVAC or chiller environments.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is asset; P.Eng. designation is asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of application engineers for HVAC/chiller solutions.
• Review and approve technical submittals and designs.
• Guide complex applications and support sales discussions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and other teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and KPI monitoring.
