Job description

Do you have experience working in residential wood-frame construction and are considering the next step in your career? We're looking for a Lead Hand to be proactive in delegating and completing various tasks on site. Join our team and apply today!

Responsibilities:
  • Delegating labourers to specific tasks
  • Taking the lead on labourer-related tasks to ensure an efficient workflow
  • Loading and unloading vehicles with supplies, equipment, and materials
  • Moving tools, equipment, and construction materials to and from work areas
  • Operating hand and power tools
  • Cleaning up rubble and debris regularly to maintain a safe construction site
  • Leveling earth using shovels and rakes
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and refilling tanks as instructed
  • Practicing workplace safety at all times
  • Performing other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Ability to lead labourers and follow directions as needed
  • Previous experience in a related role
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Willingness and ability to follow directions easily
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness and ability to work long hours in a fast-paced, physical environment
