Job description

Toromont Cat is looking for a Lead Hand - Parts Warehouse Person to join our team! This role plays a key part in coordinating and executing daily warehouse operations to ensure the entire team provides superior service to both internal and external customers.

As a Parts Warehouse Person, YOU will experience:

In a typical day, YOU will:
  1. Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound, and healthy work behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety policies and initiatives;
  2. Perform all daily parts operations, including warehouse duties such as processing shop and customer orders, receiving and processing stock, picking and delivering parts, and managing freight and stock transfers;
  3. Meet customer needs efficiently, knowledgeably, and professionally;
  4. Help maintain physical and electronic inventory of parts;
  5. Provide on-call service on weekends for emergency parts orders on a rotating basis;
  6. Safely operate lift trucks;
  7. Package and ship dangerous goods safely;
  8. Assist with organizing and controlling inventory.
Must-haves for this role:
  • Minimum secondary education;
