The Seaboard Transport Group is seeking a Licensed Mechanic - Lead Hand for our Edmonton, AB shop. Join a close-knit, family-owned team focused on safe, reliable, and professional service.

We offer training on trucks, engines, and trailers, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, competitive wages, and a range of benefits including RRSP and tool allowances. Prior supervisory experience is preferred, along with strong organizational and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanic with valid credentials.
• Exceptional mechanical knowledge.
• Experience in a supervisory or Lead Hand role is an asset.
• Moderate computer skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• High degree of professionalism.
• Experience working with tankers is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs in adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Work in accordance with all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Participate in safety and maintenance meetings.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and communicate required parts effectively.
• Engage in professional and service-oriented interactions with colleagues.
• Attend and participate in work-related training and development opportunities.
