Job description

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have LTL experience working for LTL companies. Names of LTL companies must be visible on resumes.

This position requires 70% dock stocker and 30% office work daily.

Our client in Rocky View County, Calgary SE, is an industry leader in LTL freight. They are experiencing increased business and are looking for experienced Dock Workers to join their team immediately. Responsibilities :

• Load and unload trailers.
• Ensure trucks are loaded properly for transportation.
• Track shipments as they arrive and depart.
• Operate the sit-down counterbalance forklift to unload and stage products.

Requirements :

• Previous LTL / Cross-Dock experience is mandatory.
• Certification on sit-down counterbalance forklift required.
• Must be accurate, efficient, and willing to assist wherever needed.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Steel-toed safety footwear is required.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable, hardworking, with a strong work ethic.
• Own transportation is required; site is not transit accessible.

About this position :

• Compensation depends on experience.
• Work involves 30% office work and 70% dock work.
• Supportive team environment.
• Shifts from Sunday to Thursday, starting at 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, 40 hours/week.
• Overtime opportunities available.
• Option to work on a 4-day rotation with 10-hour shifts.
