Job summary

MNP in Montreal, QC is seeking a Manager for Enterprise Risk - Internal Audit & Controls. You will lead engagements across industries, define scope, execute testing, and advise on control improvements to safeguard assets and improve financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has a PMP, 6–7 years in internal audit or performance improvement, ISO certification, and fluency in French and English. You’ll mentor teams, manage budgets, and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal, planning and delivery of enterprise risk services engagements with a focus on risk management and internal audit across industries
• Define engagement scope, programs, criteria and procedures
• Execute walkthroughs and control testing; document, assess and implement improvements to processes and control frameworks
• Develop and deliver training materials for clients and team
• Manage engagement planning, scheduling and project financials (budgets, WIP, billing, collections)
• Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, reports and proposals
• Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards development
• Maintain flexibility to travel as necessary

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal, planning and delivery of enterprise risk services engagements with a focus on risk management & internal audit services across a range of industries
• Determine engagement scope, programs, criteria and procedures
• Execute walkthroughs and control testing; document, assess, recommend and implement improvements to processes and control frameworks
• Develop and deliver training materials for clients and team
• Manage engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)
• Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee initiatives to reduce GHG emissions
• Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and that relationships grow and develop
• Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the client’s business
• Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs
• Draft and manage budgets and project resources related to GHG initiatives.
• Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
• Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills And Experience

• PMP designation
• Scientific background is an asset
• 6 to 7 years of internal audit or performance improvement related experience
• Experience in business and practice development
• Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
• ISO certified
• Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, due to frequent collaboration with English-speaking teams or clients across Canada and the fact that some client deliverables or regulatory requirements are in English.
