We’re seeking a Manager, Portfolio Management and Operations to support the Natural Resources asset class. The incumbent will be responsible for portfolio reporting and data management to effectively support asset management. ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Manager, Portfolio Management and Operations, you’ll:

Reporting

  1. Recommend and implement improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency and productivity of reporting by leveraging various IT applications (iLevel, efront, GPS, GPF, Data Warehouse).
  2. Create reporting models and dashboards to facilitate consistent portfolio reporting and meet investment team requirements.
  3. Design and analyze quality portfolio management and asset management reports (performance, deployment, commitment, forecasting).
  4. Assist in data validation and migration for system implementations.
  5. Compile investment data for ad hoc requests from the Investment team and Business Groups.

Data Management

  1. Lead the evolution of the iLevel platform and monitor industry best practices.
  2. Oversee data collection process (internal and external) and ensure timely update of data metrics as well as collaborate with investment team to identify and define relevant data metrics.
  3. Ensure quality and completeness of portfolio and investment level data.
  4. Implement controls, documentation and develop tools related to sound data management.
  5. Support Corporate initiatives with regards to data acquisition (such as ESG) and integration in other PSP systems.
  6. Coordinate collaboration with IT teams to facilitate results and efficiency gains.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science or equivalent.
  2. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
  3. Highly proficient in Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Query.
  4. Knowledge of iLevel and efront, an asset.
  5. Advanced knowledge of any programming language (SQL, Python, etc.), an asset.
  6. Previous experience in finance and investments.
  7. Strong attention to detail.
  8. Ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy.
  9. Highly organized and multitasking skills.
  10. Good communication skills in English and French (or willingness to learn).
