Job summary

Fortinet is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to design, develop and maintain FortiClient for iOS using Swift and Objective-C. You will tackle complex networking, performance, and security challenges while collaborating with backend teams to integrate FortiClient with EMS and FortiGate.

The role requires mentoring junior developers, leading technical design, and conducting code reviews to ensure high-quality software. Vancouver-based, on-site with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Expert proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
• Experience with SwiftUI and the Combine framework
• Solid, hands-on knowledge of networking and security, with a strong understanding of TCP/IP and TLS.
• Strong knowledge of iOS Security APIs.
• Knowledge of the iOS Network Extension framework is a plus.
• Knowledge of MDM systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance tools such as Instruments and Power Profiler is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $122,000 - $150,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
