Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a skilled full-stack frontend engineer to develop web interfaces for FortiDeceptor. You will work on the Apache/Rust server stack and integrate with Django-based REST APIs while collaborating with design and backend teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with front-end technologies and UX/UI principles.
• Proficient in at least one JS framework such as JQuery, Angular.
• Hands-on coding with Python and Rust, REST API development (Django).
• Strong knowledge of OOP and MVC concepts in JavaScript, Python, Rust.
• Good understanding of SQL/PL-SQL and relational schema design.
• Familiar with HTML5, CSS and UX/UI best practices.
• Experience using Git and a Linux CLI environment.
• Understanding of networking and security concepts is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Skills Required:

• Hands-on coding experience with Python, RUST and REST API development (Django web framework).
• Strong knowledge in OOPs and MVC concepts in JavaScript, Python, RUST.
• Good understanding of database technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL, and RDB schema design.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles, with expertise in HTML5, CSS.
• Experience using source control software (Git).
• Experience working in a Linux development environment (bash scripting, Linux CLI).
• Understanding of networking and security concepts is a big plus.
• Strong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• A collaborative personality, enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $110,000 - $140,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
