Position Overview

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer with strong design sensibilities to join our team. If you’re someone who loves blending creativity with technical expertise bringing designs to life with clean, functional code this role is for you.

Compensation

This is an unpaid position. However, future compensation, including potential equity may be discussed based on performance and company growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web applications using TypeScript and React
• Transform design mockups and wireframes into intuitive, interactive user interfaces
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to refine UX / UI experiences
• Write clean, maintainable CSS with a focus on scalability and performance
• Contribute to and iterate on UI / UX designs using Figma (or similar tools)
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and data sources

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in React (hooks, state management, lifecycle methods)
• Proficiency with Figma or similar design tools (Sketch, Adobe XD)
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Ability to translate design concepts into seamless, functional implementations

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
• Understanding of design principles (typography, color theory, layout)
• Basic knowledge of backend technologies and API integrations
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Skills in animation and micro-interactions for enhanced user experience
