Job summary

Kibbi in British Columbia is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen and dining room operations at the on-site location.

You will train staff in duties, sanitation and safety, supervise 5–15 staff, estimate ingredients and materials, prepare reports, and address customers' complaints while ensuring quality control. Requires College/CEGEP education and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience; English is required.

• College/CEGEP education is required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
• Establish work schedules
