Job summary

Gather Packaging in Toronto is seeking an experienced Lead Flexographic Press Operator to set up, operate, and maintain inline flexographic presses used for premium paper bag printing. You will lead a press crew, ensure safety, and drive on-time, high-quality output.

You will work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and management to improve print consistency and train developing operators, while troubleshooting ink, substrate, and press issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating inline flexographic presses.
• Strong colour matching and ink mixing skills.
• Ability to lead press crew and own production quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate inline flexographic printing presses for paper bag production.
• Lead the press crew during setup, production, changeovers, and cleanup.
• Review job specs, artwork, plates, inks, and production requirements.
