Avenue Living Asset Management is seeking an experienced financial reporting leader to oversee IFRS-based reporting for a growing North American portfolio. This Calgary-based role focuses on accurate consolidation, note disclosures, and internal controls within a public entity framework.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with public company experience.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and external reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis ability.
• Proven leadership in managing a financial reporting team.
• Experience coordinating with auditors and governance bodies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and review the financial reporting team’s deliverables.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS-based reporting and notes.
• Support public company reporting timelines and audit committee materials.
• Design and improve ICFR-related processes and controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders on audit requests.
• Research accounting developments and document conclusions.
• Maintain and enhance reporting templates and cross-functional workflows.
• Collaborate with Operations, Investments, and IT to align reporting with business changes.
• Support a proactive, evolving reporting team environment.
