Could you be the full-time hybrid Lead Finance Project Manager in Saint-Bruno, QC, CA we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive financial management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and innovative teammates. As a Lead Finance Project Manager, you will lead finances for projects, provide financial analysis and advice to support the project team in making the best business decisions. You will be the main partner for the Financial Strategy success of the project, contributing in negotiation processes to secure project success and supporting management team in risks and opportunities. You will also sign-off on contingencies and committed savings. You will also be supervising another FPM also assigned to the same project.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Acting as a business partner to provide finance advice, guidance and tutoring to the core project team
  • Escalating risks and opportunities to increase management attention
  • Forecasting, challenging and approving Project Financial KPIs such as cash, sales and margin
  • Controlling the project gross margin through detailedreviews
  • Communicating with project stakeholders to provide reliable business cases to assist in the decision-making
  • Ensuring Compliance with local regulations, especially for tax and statutory accounts purposes
  • In this role, you will continuously add value by interpreting and implementing the global financial strategy set at tender stage.
  • Ultimately, your success will be determined by your ability to build trust from the business with accurate forecast reporting and project controlling, which will lead to involvement in projects with increasing scope and visibility.

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration inAccounting or finance
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • CPA certification is an asset
  • Extensive relevant project experience, including long and complex project control
  • Planning, project performance, project accounting and internal control experience
  • Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Excel, knowledge of SAPand/or financial planning tools
  • Can easily manage several priorities at the same time
