As a Lead Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will lead and manage our Field Service team, ensuring efficient service delivery to customers. You will develop strategies to optimize operations, drive customer satisfaction, and foster business growth. Collaborating across teams, you will implement continuous improvement initiatives and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Reporting to our Sr. Field Service Supervisor, you will work on customer sites from our Markham, Ontario office.

This role impacts our field service success, customer satisfaction, and organizational growth. You will work with building management, HVAC, and security systems across commercial and government buildings, healthcare facilities, and more. Your work will help customers leverage technology to improve productivity and value.

The primary focus is on providing ongoing support for Honeywell’s Commercial Controls Building Automation HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of Honeywell Quality Control Systems.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve system and process issues.
  3. Verify and calibrate sensors.
  4. Publish critical reports including Monthly Performance, Results, and Corrective Action Reports.
  5. Engage with customers at all levels to ensure satisfaction through effective communication.
  6. Provide 24/7 emergency support on a rotational schedule with other technicians.
Must Have
  • At least 3 years of experience in building automation or HVAC controls, including RTU, AHU, boiler, and VAV systems.
  • Degree or diploma in a related field.
  • Valid G license.
  • Availability for on-call support on a rotational basis.
Valued Skills
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work safely following HSE standards.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or in teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to design solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Experience in technical report writing and review.
  • Ability to conduct formal meetings with management.
  • Knowledge of control system architecture, sensor operation, and calibration.
  • Positive attitude focused on exceeding customer expectations.
