Job summary

Qualifications

• Progressive experience at the manager level in a professional services firm, working with external audit clients.
• CPA designation with strong knowledge of Canadian auditing standards and IFRS/ASPE.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing audit teams on diverse engagements.
• Review financial statements and control documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Ask executives questions to gather necessary information and challenge assumptions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts across levels.
• Test internal controls and significant accounting estimates.
• Provide coaching to staff and deliver milestone training sessions.
• Develop and present high-quality audit proposals to clients.
• Utilize audit technology and analytics to identify risks and improve efficiency.
