Job summary

Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd. in Wells, BC is seeking an Exploration Supervisor to lead and manage its extensive exploration programs. The role focuses on coordinating field operations, budgets, permitting, and multidisciplinary teams to execute growth strategies.

Ideal candidates have a geology degree, P.Geo, 5–10 years of experience, and strong skills in project management, data analysis, and GIS-based modeling. This on-site position operates on a 14/14 rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field with professional geologist certification.
• 5–10 years of relevant work experience in exploration or mining.
• Strong project management and communication skills for multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with GIS/geological modeling tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all logistical aspects of exploration programs.
• Coordinate budgets, contracts, and field operations, including permitting.
• Plan drill programs, data collection, and interpretation with geoscience teams.
• Supervise personnel and contractors, report progress and KPI results.
• Maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and field logistics.
• Prepare internal reports, memos, and technical documentation.
