    You will serve as a Lead Engineer in Trading Technology within the Public Market Investments team, collaborating with traders, investment professionals, and operations to design and implement solutions for trading and post-trade activities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, OTC, and FX.

    In this role, you will :

  • Lead development of technology solutions end-to-end, supporting complex business capabilities in an Agile environment
  • Drive engineering excellence and continuous improvement, providing technical leadership and mentorship
  • Apply advanced understanding of technical landscapes to guide teams
  • Foster agility and innovation through experimentation and feedback
  • Frame problems clearly, collaborate effectively, and gain buy-in on solutions
  • Facilitate root-cause analysis across teams
  • Adhere to Agile SDLC practices
  • Promote a culture of feedback, learning, and professional growth
  • Maintain strong relationships with business partners, IT teams, and vendors
  • Minimum qualifications include :

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java
  • Experience with software development concepts, version control, testing, and agile practices
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented code
  • Understanding of trading systems, derivatives, and trade lifecycle
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg and / or Murex platforms (bonus)
  • Knowledge of FIX protocol (preferred)
  • Interest in expanding domain knowledge, e.g., CFA, CSC, DFC courses
  • Experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS
