Job summary

Egis Canada is seeking an energetic Energy Auditor to lead end-to-end energy auditing and building condition assessments for commercial and institutional properties across BC. The role involves site visits, data collection, and delivering actionable reports to help clients reduce energy costs and meet decarbonization targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years conducting energy audits (Level 1–3) and/or BC building condition assessments for commercial or institutional properties.
• Proficiency with energy modelling software and building systems diagnostics.
• Ability to translate field data into client-ready reports and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Author Level 1–3 energy audit reports for commercial/institutional buildings.
• Conduct building condition assessments of mechanical, electrical, and envelope systems.
• Perform site visits and data collection with operator interviews.
• Analyze BAS data trends to identify control and performance issues.
• Benchmark building performance using utility data.
• Develop M&V plans for energy conservation measures.
