# Lead Electrician – Windsor, Ontario>* Full Time* Windsor**Axis Solar Inc.**Location: Windsor, Ontario Company: Axis Solar Inc Type: Full-Time About the Role: Axis Solar Inc. is seeking a certified and experienced Lead Electrician to join our growing team in Windsor, Ontario. This role involves leading electrical installations, diagnostics, and maintenance across a range of commercial solar projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction and maintenance electrical systems, a 309A license, and the leadership ability to mentor junior technicians while ensuring project success and electrical safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: Plan, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems related to solar installations Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications for layout and installation of systems Measure, cut, thread, and install conduits, raceways, and enclosures for wiring systems Splice, terminate, and connect electrical conductors and devices Lead troubleshooting efforts and fault diagnosis of electrical systems and solar arrays Test electrical and electronic equipment for proper operation and code compliance Supervise and support junior electricians and apprentices on site Ensure all work complies with Ontario Electrical Safety Code and company safety standards Qualifications: Valid 309A Electrician – Construction and Maintenance license Listed on the Skilled Trades Ontario Public Register Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or solar electrical installations Strong knowledge of electrical systems including renewable energy and energy storage Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Proven leadership and mentorship experience Valid G-class driver’s license and reliable transportation What We Offer: Leadership position within a high-growth solar energy company Opportunity to shape and lead electrical installation standards and practices Competitive salary and benefits package Supportive team culture and ongoing professional development Interested candidates should click the ‘APPLY TO THIS POSITION’ icon to submit a resume and cover letter To apply please click on APPLY TO THIS POSITION Save this job Job Post Date: 06/10/25 12 people are interested in this job.
