Responsibilities include:

• Leading electrical build projects on the shop floor, managing daily tasks, and ensuring timelines, safety, and quality standards are achieved.
• Supporting electrical wiring and installation for custom automated packaging equipment.
• Mentoring and training electrical apprentices and junior electricians.
• Interpreting electrical schematics and engineering specifications.
• Overseeing installation of electrical systems such as conduit, panels, motors, transformers, and generators.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues during assembly and testing.
• Participating in equipment testing, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, promoting 5S standards.
• Recommending system upgrades and improvements.
• Providing electrical maintenance support for the facility as needed.
• Collaborating with Engineering, Mechanical, and Project Management teams.

Travel: Occasional travel within North America for on-site support or installation supervision.

Qualifications:

• Valid 442A or 309A certification with experience in automation.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience as an Electrician, including apprenticeships.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing or automation environments.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC industrial wiring and electrical systems.
• Electronics coursework related to PLCs; PLC wiring knowledge is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.
• Pneumatics experience is a strong asset.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
