Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team! The Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for Electrical works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Monitoring the Electrical works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
2. Reviewing, approving and processing all ELV and IT technical submittals.
3. Prepare preliminary answers RFI’s related to Electrical works.
4. Coordinating and supervising the pre-installation work of Electrical activities and operations.
5. Reviewing contractor’s Electrical change order proposals and preparing recommendations to the Senior Electrical Engineer.
6. Liaison with the necessary sub consultants.
7. Assist with the review of contractor’s claims related to Electrical works and preparing recommendations for claims.
8. Assist with the review of contractor’s project record documents relevant to their discipline.
9. Assist with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the Electrical works.
10. Prepare “sign-off” package for completed Electrical works with completed documentation for sign-off by Senior Electrical Engineer.
11. Perform all other duties given by PM.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Minimum Ten (10) years' experience as Electrical / ELV Engineer with (3 -5) years in Construction Administration in the Middle East.
3. Strong technical background on Electrical works.
4. Good oral and written communication skills.
5. Knowledge/experience in AUTO CAD.
6. Good command of Microsoft Office business solution (Excel, Word).
7. Ability to review and comment properly on necessary documentation.
8. Excellent understanding of specifications.
9. Good understanding of Authority requirements.
10. Complete project understanding in given discipline, from start to hand-over.
