Our flagship, the dcbel Home Energy Station, is a wall-mounted device that allows users to own their energy supply by using solar power to charge their EVs and homes, unlock EV batteries for backup power (V2H), and optimize energy flow between solar panels, EVs, batteries, and the grid.

The opportunity

Reporting to the CMO, the Ecommerce Lead manages all digital marketing efforts, overseeing performance marketing initiatives across multiple platforms to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads, and transactions. This role requires expertise in client acquisition, funnel development, channel optimization, analytics, and measurement. Collaboration with PR, content, business development, customer experience, IT, and HR teams is essential to define campaign strategies and business needs.

Main responsibilities

  • Define vision, projections, roadmap, and overall eCommerce D2C strategy.
  • Oversee paid media & performance channels (search, social, SEO, CRM, UX / UI, merchandising, CRO).
  • Develop and manage the eCommerce roadmap from a business and technical perspective.
  • Coordinate with Content, Experience, Service & Technology teams for website features and improvements.
  • Manage external partners (agencies, technology providers).
  • Lead and grow a fast-paced team.
  • Establish and prioritize KPIs for eCommerce operations.
  • Monitor performance, report to stakeholders, and implement improvement plans.
  • Share best practices and act as a thought leader internally.

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • Deep understanding of Martech, traffic acquisition, CRO, and eCommerce best practices.
  • 7+ years of proven eCommerce experience.
  • Experience leveraging automation in user acquisition strategies.
  • Strong performance modeling and analytics skills.
  • Experience in energy industries (electric vehicles, solar, energy management) is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and French, written and spoken.
