Our Stewards have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain overall kitchen cleanliness, including staff areas.
  • Train new team members in the Stewarding department.
  • Perform inventory checks on cleaning products and smallwares.
  • Assist with prep work when needed.
  • Clean and wash dishes, kitchen tools, and equipment using an industrial dishwasher or by hand.
  • Complete duties promptly using proper cleaning, sanitizing, and drying techniques.
  • Organize and replace glassware, dishes, flatware, and kitchen tools.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors and surfaces.
  • Ensure work areas and equipment are kept neat and orderly.
  • Report low supplies or damaged equipment immediately to the Executive Chef.
  • Follow sanitation and health standards per health and safety guidelines.
  • Take direction from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team.
  • Contribute to creating memorable experiences for guests.
  • Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership qualities.
  • Drive positive organizational change.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Positive, outgoing, and friendly team player.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptability to workflow changes.
  • Previous cleaning or dishwashing experience is an asset.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and closing shifts.
