Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Position Summary

This role oversees the operation of the terminal shop, including equipment repair, maintenance, vendor management, work order updates, and on-site staff supervision.

Essential Functions
  • Utilize and update the fleet maintenance management system
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Oversee shop operations
  • Perform repairs on electrical, brake, and other systems
  • Supervise and train technician staff, including apprentices
  • Handle hiring, interviews, and accountability for technicians
  • Schedule work using Shop Planner
  • Assist technicians with preventive and repair work on trucks, tractors, and trailers
  • Create and complete work orders
  • Maintain maintenance records and adhere to safety and inspection programs
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnostics
  • Lead parts inventory management
  • Learn and proficiently use maintenance software
  • Inspect equipment and perform quality checks
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately
  • Assist with HM 183 inspections

Pay Range: $27.00 - $41.00
