Job Description

The Cloud & DevOps team is hiring a Lead to work on Enterprise platforms supporting the organization’s product development. As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will lead efforts to design and implement scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions, driving automation and efficiency across the software development lifecycle. You will demonstrate leadership and drive engineering excellence within your team and influence the same across the Technology & Data department. The role includes architecting, building, supporting, and communicating DevOps and Observability platforms using cloud-native tools such as EKS, Terraform, Github Actions, Elastic Observability, and Ansible. You will utilize your expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud platforms to optimize performance and scalability, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and implementation of enterprise-wide DevOps practices and promoting DevOps adoption and maturity across the organization
• Architecting cloud environments on Kubernetes using Terraform, with confidence in building and managing cloud infrastructure
• Delivering and implementing reusable platforms and reference implementations across CI/CD, DevOps, and SRE frameworks using tools like Github Actions, Terraform, Ansible, Vault, SonarQube, etc.
• Providing subject matter expertise on DevOps platforms, industry best practices, and emerging trends
• Architecting, optimizing, and managing Elastic Observability platforms
• Analyzing DevOps pipelines to modernize, migrate, and resolve issues or bottlenecks
• Driving continuous improvement and quality in all work processes

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in automation of build, CI/CD, and deployment processes following industry standards
• Deep knowledge of Terraform, CI servers, Github Actions, Vault, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Artifactory, and build tools like kubectl, Python, npm, Docker
• Ability to communicate technical standards effectively to diverse application teams
• Experience building software pipelines with Docker, npm, Java, Pypi, and other DevOps tools
• Hands-on Linux experience is mandatory; some Windows platform knowledge is a plus
• Proven experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS
• Strong multitasking, analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for technical design and strategy discussions
