Job summary

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist specializing in machine learning to drive their genomics research initiatives, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is critical for unlocking insights from vast genomic datasets, enabling breakthroughs in personalized medicine and disease research. You will collaborate closely with a world-class team of bioinformaticians, geneticists, and clinicians to develop and deploy predictive models. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives on complex challenges, possesses strong analytical skills, and is passionate about leveraging AI and ML to advance biological understanding, all from the comfort of their home office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced machine learning models for genomic data analysis, including variant calling, imputation, and phenotype prediction.
  • Design and execute data mining strategies to identify patterns and correlations within large-scale genomic datasets.
  • Collaborate with domain experts to translate biological questions into data science problems.

Requirements
