As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all AI initiatives align with enterprise architecture standards, business strategy, and regulatory requirements. Operating within a SAFe Agile framework, you will provide deep architectural expertise, facilitate platform delivery, and support business value realization.
What does your typical day look like?
- Lead the end-to-end design and validation of AI solutions, whether developed in-house or by third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business needs;
- Develop and operationalize an Agentic Framework for AI use cases to support modular, composable, and autonomous workflows;
- Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into architectural blueprints and actionable plans;
- Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance to data scientists and engineers working on AI initiatives;
- Promote architectural thinking, best practices, and code quality across cross-functional AI efforts;
- Define integration patterns, orchestration workflows, and MLOps practices to support seamless deployment of AI workloads across cloud-native and containerized environments;
- Support Agile Release Trains and development teams by translating architectural strategies into features, enablers, and spikes.
What skills and training do you need?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field;
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in AI-focused roles, including architecture, machine learning solution design, and deployment at scale;
- Proven experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions in enterprise environments, emphasizing modular, reusable architectures;
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms and orchestration tools such as Dataiku and Snowflake;
- Familiarity with containerized environments, model lifecycle management, and MLOps best practices;
- Experience managing and guiding a team of data scientists;
- Strong background in integrating third-party AI products and services;
- Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies in fast-paced environments;
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Dataiku DSS, Snowflake SnowPro, Azure AI Engineer, MLOps tools) are advantageous;
- Bilingual in English (required) and French (asset) for global and regional collaboration.
