The Dalla Lana School of Public Health is a Faculty of the University of Toronto that originated as one of the Schools of Hygiene begun by the Rockefeller Foundation in 1927. The School, which played a critical role in the COVID-19 pandemic response, went through a dramatic renaissance after the 2003 SARS crisis and it is now the largest public health school in Canada, with more than 850 faculty, 1,000 students, and research and training partnerships with institutions throughout Toronto and the world. Your opportunity:
ICES UofT is one of six satellite sites part of the ICES network. ICES is a securedata site for Ontario’s health-related data, including population-based health surveys, anonymous patient records, and clinical and administrative databases. ICES is recognized as a leader in maintaining the privacy and security of health information.
As a Lead Data Analyst at ICES UofT, you will provide oversight and support to all appointed Analysts working at the satellite site, including training and IT project oversight. The Lead Data Analyst will also be involved in commenting on methodology, completing analytic projects, and contributing to the ICES knowledge base and standards of practice in matters related to data, analysis, research methodology, and operational issues. The Lead Data Analyst role will be analytical, creative, and possess strong technical skills to advance IT initiatives.
