Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Lead Cook acts as a leader in the kitchen in the absence of the Kitchen Manager/Chef, assists in management duties, and prepares and serves food for customers. Responsibilities include:

  1. Planning and preparing food based on customer volume using the operations manual and prep sheets.
  2. Ensuring all food orders are prepared, presented, and delivered according to company standards.
  3. Mentoring kitchen staff, training on procedures, sanitation, equipment use, and cost controls.
  4. Maintaining sanitation and organization of the kitchen and storage areas according to guidelines.
  5. Weekly calibration checks of cooking and refrigeration equipment.
  6. Sanitizing dishes, equipment, and utensils following health laws.
  7. Receiving and inspecting food and supply deliveries, ensuring proper storage and documentation.
  8. Working the food line, preparing menu items, and supervising staff to ensure quality.
  9. Maintaining a clean, safe environment at all times.
  10. Assisting colleagues with duties to ensure smooth customer service.
  11. Responding promptly to customer questions or requests.
  12. Becoming certified in alcohol service and food safety programs within specified timeframes.
  13. Working flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years of operational experience; culinary or food management degree is a plus.
