Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for a position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Kitchen Manager/Chef, assist in management duties, and prepare and serve food for customers.
- Plan and prepare food in appropriate quantities based on customer volume, following the Lucky Strike Entertainment operations manual and prep sheets.
- Ensure all food orders are prepared, presented, and delivered according to company standards.
- Mentor kitchen staff, providing training on procedures, presentation, sanitation, equipment use, and cost controls.
- Maintain sanitation and organization of all kitchen and storage areas in compliance with local and company guidelines.
- Regularly check calibration of cooking and refrigeration equipment to ensure quality and freshness.
- Receive and inspect food and supply orders, ensuring proper condition, temperature, and documentation. Rotate stock and mark perishable items with delivery dates.
- Prepare menu items on the food line, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment at all times.
- Assist colleagues with various duties to ensure smooth customer service.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests, taking ownership and guiding to resolution.
- Obtain certification in the company's alcohol service program within 14 days and the food safety program within 30 days of employment.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed.
WHAT IT TAKES
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, integrity, respect, and effective communication.
- Team-oriented, capable of developing others, and knowledgeable about workplace safety procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3-5 years of operational experience; culinary or food management degree is a plus. Relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience are acceptable.
