Job summary
Ledcor Group is seeking a Commercial Door Installation Technician to perform advanced installation, modification, and repair of door systems and hardware on commercial and residential projects. The role includes hands-on work, on-site safety leadership, and coordination with project teams and trades.
The position also involves mentoring junior technicians, reviewing orders, and ensuring installations meet quality, code, and project requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; formal trades training or certification preferred.
- 5+ years of hands-on commercial door installation experience.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and codes.
- Experience installing, troubleshooting, modifying door systems and hardware.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and client-service skills.
Responsibilities
- Leads safety on site and ensures standards are met.
- Installs/repairs door systems and hardware per drawings and codes.
- Reviews work orders to determine scope and materials.
- Troubleshoots complex installation issues and coordinates with teams.
- Provides coaching and support to junior technicians on site.
