The Indigenous Health Unit (IHU) builds respectful, trusted relationships with First Nations, Inuit, Métis and urban Indigenous (FNIMUI) leadership, organizations and communities. The unit works across Ontario Health and with regional and health-system partners to ensure programs and services reflect FNIMUI priorities and provide equitable, culturally relevant care. Reporting to the Manager, Cancer and Ontario Health Priorities, the Lead will connect Ontario Health portfolios, business units and regions with governments, health service providers, agencies and community partners. This role offers the opportunity to shape provincial and regional Indigenous health initiatives, advise senior and system partners, and translate the FNIMUI Health Framework and Health Plan into coordinated action and measurable progress.
