Salary Comment: The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full-time equivalent hours.

Title: Lead, Clinical Education and Quality
Salary: $104,535 - $130,960 per year (pay range explained below)*
Contract: Temporary until May 29, 2026
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday (core hours 9am – 3pm)
Location: Alberni office, Downtown Vancouver
Bargaining Unit: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)

About the Role:

With a strong view to providing access to culturally safe, high-quality care closer to home, FNHA launched 2 virtual service pathways in 2020: 1) The First Nations Virtual Doctor of the Day (FNVDOD), and 2) The First Nations Virtual Substance Use and Psychiatry Service (FNVSUPS). The Lead, Clinical Education and Quality has a strong mental health or primary care clinical background and provides leadership and management of clinical education programs, activities, resources, and related processes and services that facilitate clinical skills development of Virtual Services clinical staff in both FNVDOD and FNVSUPS. In this unique role, the Lead will also provide key support with quality improvement within the Virtual Services.

About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:

Education:
- Degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is an asset.

Occupational Certification:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Experience:
- Three (3) years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Additional education and experience in Adult Learning is an asset.
- Formal quality improvement and change management experience and training is an asset.
