Active Start Childcare in Calgary South East Seton is seeking a Lead Educator who understands child development, engages children, and fosters positive relationships with families and colleagues.

Requirements include Alberta Child Care Certification levels 2 or 3, current criminal record check with vulnerable sector search, and First Aid certification. Fluency in English and strong communication are essential.

• Alberta Child Care Certification Level 2 or 3 is required.
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search is required.
• First Aid Certification is required.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities are essential.
• Fluent in English with strong leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Create and implement engaging programming for children.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the environment.
• Lead and support children in integrated learning and recreational activities.
• Supervise and engage with children while ensuring well-being.
• Communicate with parents through monthly newsletters and daily updates.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• accompany children on bus to and from school.
• Adhere to Alberta Early Learning and Child Care Regulations and Active Start policies.
