British Columbia, Canada
Make your mark on Jewish student life by joining Hillel BC as the Lead Campus Professional on Emerging Campuses. You will build one on one relationships with students, putting on awesome events around campuses, and help inspire students to make a commitment to Jewish life. As the Lead Campus Professional- Emerging Campuses, you’ll be bringing Jewish life to post-secondary schools where it’s still taking shape — including Langara, Emily Carr, VIU, UBCO, and TRU — and where your presence can truly make all the difference.
You’ll be the first face many students see when they’re looking for connection, culture, or a sense of belonging, and you’ll help build something meaningful from the ground up. You’ll spend your time getting to know students one-on-one, supporting them in forming community, and organizing experiences that reflect their interests and identities. Whether you’re helping a student plan a Shabbat dinner in their dorm building, running a cultural event on campus, or simply checking in over coffee, your work will empower students to lead, grow, and feel proud of who they are. This is a unique opportunity to be bold, creative, and entrepreneurial. You’ll work across multiple campuses, each with its own rhythm and community, and your impact will be felt by students who may not have had access to the Jewish community otherwise. You’ll be the connector, the builder, and the person who helps students feel at home — even in places where that hasn’t always been easy.
