Job summary

RBC in Toronto is seeking a Lead, Business Systems Analyst to orchestrate data acquisition across the AI ecosystem. You will bridge business requirements with technical implementation, guiding ETL workflows and data governance to deliver valuable insights.

The role requires 7+ years in analytics and a track record of leading complex projects. This is a full-time, salaried position based in Canada, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and strategic data initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Communicate outcomes and recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Job Description

In this role, you will be the orchestrator of our data acquisition strategy, enabling seamless integration of new data sources into our platform. As the Lead, Business Systems Analyst, you'll bridge business requirements with technical implementation, ensuring that data flows efficiently through our ETL pipelines and delivers meaningful insights across our AI ecosystem. You'll multi-task across multiple concurrent projects, driving strategic data initiatives that expand our platform's capabilities.

What will you do?

  • Develop deep expertise in data strategy and platform evolution
  • Facilitate data acquisition initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate use cases
  • Partner with developers to design and optimize data pipelines, removing blockers and ensuring smooth implementations
  • Establish metrics frameworks and rules that unlock insights from newly acquired data
  • Provide oversight into our AI ecosystem, ensuring data quality and consistency across all ingestion points
  • Manage multiple concurrent data acquisition projects, prioritizing and orchestrating across parallel workstreams
  • Conduct data quality reviews and establish best practices for ongoing data governance
  • Communicate outcomes, challenges, and recommendations to executive stakeholders
