Our clients include Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking, and Wealth Management. We also develop digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.

Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven professional to deliver high-performing applications for the Anti-Money Laundering & Financial Crime IT team, managing investigations, case workflows, and regulatory submissions. The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will gather and document requirements, create process maps of current and future states, and support the delivery of solutions.

What will you do?

  • Act as a subject matter expert in multiple applications and lead larger or multi-team projects.
  • Manage detailed requirement phases, identify and resolve system issues, and deliver project requirements end-to-end.
  • Assess, analyze, and document stakeholder needs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Determine cross-functional impacts and develop process maps to support architecture and solutions.
  • Manage project documentation and resolve issues during implementation.
  • Practice scope management, change control, and stakeholder communication.
  • Contribute to project success by identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project risks, scope, and objectives, and communicate progress.
  • Develop training plans for new or enhanced processes.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners and team members.
  • Prepare user stories and maintain Confluence pages, coordinate grooming sessions.
  • Assist project managers in coordinating stakeholders and reviewing project plans.

What do you need to succeed?

Technical Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in business systems analysis and software development.
  • Experience in defining complex business logic and data analysis using SQL and Excel.
  • Expertise in data mapping, ETL processes, Big Data, and Teradata platforms.
  • Experience with SQL scripting and Agile methodologies, including Jira and user stories.

Nice to have

  • Background in Business, Finance, Engineering, Math, or Sciences.
  • Experience with payment modernization, ISO 20022 standards, and cross-border payment compliance.
  • Knowledge of AML and Financial Crime regulations.
  • CBAP or similar certification, and skills in business process modeling.
