Qualifications

• Liaising with Actuarial Pricing to gather business requirements.
• Analyzing, planning, and delivering rate changes, considering priority, complexity, dependencies, and other impacts.
• Collaborating with the Release Train Engineer and Business Systems Analysts to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements and plan the delivery of changes.
• Leading rating-related projects and initiatives.
• Coordinating efforts with Guidewire analysts and other technology teams on cross-functional projects.
• Providing guidance and support to team members to manage the delivery of changes according to project schedules and regulatory deadlines.
• Ensuring quality and accuracy through automated and manual testing and validating test results.
• Documenting business requirements, decisions, issues, test plans, and test results thoroughly
• Identifying risks and implementing appropriate solutions and mitigation strategies.
• Responding to ad hoc inquiries and investigating rating issues and questions as needed.
• Supporting internal and external audit and compliance teams as required.

Required Skills:

• Superior analytical abilities
• Excellent math skills: a degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science is a plus
• Expertise in Excel
• Excellent communications skills
• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
• Solid understanding of Property & Casualty (PSC) insurance products and pricing
• Experience with insurance policy management systems and/or rating engines
• Understanding of Agile methodology and previous experience working in an Agile environment.
