Job summary

Astra North Infoteck Inc. is seeking Intermediate Bridge CAD Designers to join our Canadian Transportation Group in Southern Ontario. The role focuses on converting notes and sketches into working drawings for bridges, with a strong emphasis on quality and standards.

Hybrid work model supporting in-office collaboration three days a week across GTA offices including Mississauga. You will collaborate with highways, civil, electrical and geotechnical teams and mentor junior staff while contributing

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in design for bridges and related steel/concrete structures.
• Ability to work in large multi-discipline teams and across regions.
• Diploma in Structural Technology or related field from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Take engineering notes, specifications, rough sketches and formalize them into working drawings.
• Develop working drawings from equipment specs and detailed drawings meeting standards.
• Provide project design support and mentorship to junior staff.
