Job summary

Skyservice is seeking an experienced avionics lead technician to perform and oversee all contracted avionics work in the hangar and on the ramp. You will lead major aircraft inspections and guide junior technicians, ensuring documentation and certification for all components.

The role requires a TC E license, 5+ years of related experience, and a background with business aircraft is a plus. Weekend/night shifts, relocation support, and robust benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • Valid Transport Canada E license is required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years related experience.
  • Background in working on Business Aircraft types is an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Must be attentive to detail; Positive attitude; Team oriented; Good communication skills.
  • Flexible to work shifts assigned (Weekend/Night).

Responsibilities

  • Perform avionics tasks in hangar and on ramp as contracted.
  • Lead major inspections and oversee junior technicians/apprentices.
  • Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Ensure components installed are properly certified.
  • Comply with Transport Canada regulations and control manuals.
  • Attend training courses as directed by management.
  • Adhere to Safety Management System policy and maintain a safe workspace.
