Job summary

Skyservice in Mississauga is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Lead Technician to perform avionics-related activities on aircraft in hangar and ramp environments. You will lead major inspection and modification projects and supervise junior technicians and apprentices.

You will ensure all aircraft documents are completed, components are certified, and compliance with Transport Canada regulations; participate in training; maintain safe work environments; and support supervision on related tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid Transport Canada Category E License.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in avionics or related role.
• Experience with corporate aircraft types is an asset.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail with a positive attitude and good teamwork.
• Willingness to work weekends and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform all avionics-related activities on aircraft in hangar and ramp.
• Lead major inspection and modification projects; supervise junior technicians/apprentices.
• Ensure all aircraft documents are completed and components certified.
• Comply with Transport Canada standards and SMS policies; participate in training.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment and assist in related tasks as directed by supervisor.
