Fuze HR is now seeking a Lead Audiovisual Technician to take charge of AV installations and bring complex AV systems to life for a broad range of commercial and institutional customers throughout the Lower mainland and beyond. This is an exciting, full-time opportunity based in beautiful Vancouver, BC, with an industry-leading player in the technology space. What are the Responsibilities of the Lead AV Technician?
  • Lead AV system installations and system service: cabling, devices, digital signage, conferencing, and more
  • Install and maintain cabling infrastructure and audio/visual devices including pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labeling per specifications and drawings.
  • Program and commission systems using Crestron, Extron, and Biamp tools
  • Build racks, ensure clean cable management
  • Interpret blueprints and system diagrams
  • Mentor and train junior technicians
  • Ensure projects stay on track, on time, and exceed client expectations
  • Maintain strong client relationships and represent our client with professionalism in the field
What are the Requirements of the Lead AV Technician?
  • 5+ years of experience of AV exposure (installations, system design, etc), at least 1 year of senior level or Lead experience
  • Proven experience with commercial AV systems
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Bonus: CTS, Extron, Biamp, or Crestron certifications
